Vucevic: EXPO 2027 flag proof of our enormous success

BELGRADE - Serbian PM and special presidential envoy Milos Vucevic said on Friday taking over the flag of the specialised international EXPO 2027 was a big day for Serbia and that he would on Monday present the flag to President Aleksandar Vucic for safekeeping at the Presidency of Serbia until the event's opening ceremony in 2027.

Tech-Savvy Tesla-Inspired Play Premieres in Belgrade

A new play entitled 'FBI - The Tesla Files' premiers at Belgrade's Sava Centre's main hall on December 18.

Written by Nele Karajlic, a popular Yugoslavian musician, writer, performer and overall Renaissance man, the play premiered in November in Novi Sad and has now taken up residence in Sava Centre.

Dance Day marked by ballet featuring Tsygankova, Golding

BELGRADE - The International Dance Day was marked in Belgrade with the Don Quixote ballet produced by the National Theatre of Serbia.

Prima-ballerina of the National Ballet from Amsterdam, Anna Tsygankova, and a principal dancer of the Royal Ballet in London, Matthew Golding, premiered in front of the Belgrade audience in the Sava Centre on Wednesday evening.

British film about Serbian football coach to open Beldocs

BELGRADE - The 7th International Documentary Film Festival, Beldocs, is to officially open in Belgrade on Thursday, and will screen 34 Serbian and foreign films in total.

The first is ‘The football coach Zoran and the African tigers’ by British film director Sam Benstead, which tells the story how coach Zoran Djordjevic created the first national team in the newly founded country of South Sudan.
