Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Kristian Mitskoski, blatantly violated the Prespa Agreement once again, as in his statements at the NATO Summit he referred to his country as “Macedonia”, and reportedly spoke of a “Macedonian government” and a “Macedonian army”.

North Macedonia will appoint language proofreaders in official institutions and state bodies to check all materials coming out of them for correct use of the Macedonian language.

This is done by virtue of the Law on the Use of the Macedonian Language, adopted on Friday by the Parliament and signed by President Stevo Pendarovski on Tuesday.

"Bulgaria believes that the Republic of North Macedonia will be a full member of the European Union based on its own contribution. We believe that they will fulfill the conditions of membership and should not waste time, because the worst thing is to waste time that will turn into skepticism.

Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski approves the creation of "black lists" for Bulgarian citizens and politicians, reported BGNES. The statement was made during a forum organized by the Belgrade Center for Political Security on the topic: "Russian aggression against Ukraine and the new situation with EU enlargement".

The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, stated that in the last two years, he has not had a single constructive conversation with his Bulgarian colleague, Rumen Radev.

Macedonian and Bulgarian members of the joint history commission - established to find common ground between the two radically different views on history - differ sharply on the external pressures that they say are hampering progress.

The United States is calling on Bulgaria and North Macedonia to "de-escalate" their rhetoric and quickly resolve "bilateral disputes".

This is stated in a position of the US State Department, expressed to the Macedonian section of "Voice of America".

The Bulgarian theatrical production "Vrazhalec" (Вражалец), which was supposed to delight the audience in three North Macedonian towns at the beginning of February, will not take place.

Slovenian energy company GEN-I has constructed the largest solar plant in North Macedonia, which will generate 25,000 megawatt hours of green energy to meet the needs of more than 5,500 households, GEN-I said in a statement on Tuesday. The plant was connected to the Macedonian grid in September but the inauguration event was held in the capital of Skopje on Tuesday.

"I think that this is a provocation that does no good," said the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovachevski, on the occasion of the protests yesterday at the opening of the Bulgarian club "Tsar Boris III" in Ohrid.
