Aria Hotels expands internationally with entry into Colombian market
Aria Hotels, the Greek hospitality subsidiary of the Libra Group, with over 70 units, announced on Wednesday it is also entering the Colombian market in its first expansion abroad.
Aria will use its knowhow to transform two properties into luxury hotels, one of them to be named Aria Maria.
Where Lord Elgin packaged the stolen sculptures
Located on Areos Street, opposite Hadrian's Library, the building traces its origins back to the 17th century. Its distinctive features - two floors, an external staircase, and an internal courtyard with a well and fountain - classify it as a "classic" representation of the later Ottoman era.

Scores homeless after Greek migrant camp fire: Official
Scores of asylum-seekers were left homeless when a fire tore through a camp on the Greek island of Samos, a migration ministry official said on April 27.
"Around 200 people have been left homeless," Migration Ministry Secretary Manos Logothetis told AFP.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Locations of new island migrant camps to be confirmed soon
The details of the new reception centers being planned for the islands of the eastern Aegean will be finalized by the end of the year, according to the general secretary of the Citizens' Protection Ministry, Manos Logothetis.
Migrant relocation program continues
Despite opposition from local communities, the Citizens' Protection Ministry is intent on implementing the government's plan to distribute asylum seekers among regional units across the country as part of the initiative to decongest overcrowded camps on the Greek islands.

Interior Ministry to be involved in migration effort
Faced with an upsurge in migrant arrivals, the Greek government on Thursday said that the Interior Ministry will support municipal and regional authorities involved in efforts to relieve pressure on island facilities and to set up new accommodation facilities.
