Dragoljub Simonovic, the former president of the Belgrade municipality of Grocka and a member of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party, SNS, has been sentenced to five years in prison for inciting other persons to jeopardize the life of journalist Milan Jovanovic.

One of the parents of the missing children is Stefan Zivanovic, the father of the child he claims was abducted in 2016.

UNS said that the website's owner Zeljko Matorcevic, said he was not familiar with the people who were arrested, and that the media outlet never wrote about them.
