Six children were admitted to the "Dr. Georgi Stranski" University Hospital for Active Treatment in Pleven after consuming cannabis-infused biscuits. Additionally, another child is being treated for ingestion of opiates and cocaine, according to Tanya Vashkova, the Public Relations expert at the health facility, as per BNR.

Last night, a disturbing incident unfolded in the village of Ruptsi, located in the Cherven Bryag municipality of Pleven region.

Reports indicate that a 62-year-old man, whose mental health was deteriorating, committed a violent act by stabbing two elderly women. Following the attack, he barricaded himself inside a building in the village along with one of the victims.

A skilled emergency medical team from the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance in Pleven successfully delivered a baby girl in an ambulance. Dr. Viola Ignatova and midwife Kalinka Velichkova adeptly assisted in the birth of the child, providing critical care during the emergency delivery.
