Thessaloniki: 46-year-old Turkish man arrested for drug trafficking – An Interpol red notice had been issued for him

Wanted by Turkish law enforcement authorities for involvement in a criminal organization and drug trafficking, he was arrested in Thessaloniki.

The 46-year-old Turkish national is said to have been residing permanently in Greece recently and holds a temporary identity card as an asylum seeker.

Dacic opens 2nd SEPCA General Assembly meeting

BELGRADE - Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic opened the 2nd General Assembly meeting of the Southeast Europe Police Chiefs Association (SEPCA) in Belgrade on Thursday, noting that the priorities set for the Serbian Interior Ministry's presidency over the association had been accomplished successfully.

Yaşar Çekik, codenamed Yaşar Hakkari, who joined the terror group in 1993, orchestrated the attack on the Hantepe Gendarmerie Station in the Çukurca district of Türkiye's eastern Hakkari province in 2010. Six soldiers were killed in the attack.
