29th International Istanbul Film Festival

The 40th Istanbul Film Festival is returning to cinemas and outdoor venues. The hybrid festival is meeting audiences at movie theaters as well as its online platform.

Sixteen feature-length and six short films from the program are also available online.

The 47th Istanbul Music Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), kicked off June 11 at the Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center.

The 38th Istanbul Film Festival presented national and international film awards during a ceremony April 16 at Rahmi M. Koc Museum.
"Bolsaa" (House of Hummingbird), directed by Bora Kim, won the festival's grand prize, the Golden Tulip, in the international category.

Fikret Reyhan's "Yellow Heat" was the big winner at the awards for the 36th Istanbul Film Festival, picking up four Golden Tulips, including one for best film.

"Yellow Heat" was closely followed by Yeşim Ustaoğlu's "Clair Obscur," which one three awards, including one for best director to the veteran filmmaker Ustaoğlu.

Organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), the Istanbul Film Festival's 36th edition kicked off with an opening gala on April 4. The opening gala brought the stars and distinguished figures of Turkish cinema together at TİM Show Center where Cinema Honorary Awards and plaques were presented. 

Organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) between April 5 and 17, the 36th Istanbul Film Festival announced the jury members for its National Golden Tulip Competition Turkish Cinema of the festival includes the National Golden Tulip Competition, National Documentary Competition and National Short Film Competition.

The 35th Istanbul Film Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV), presented this year's awards at a ceremony at the Haliç Congress Center on April 15.

The Golden Tulip for the Best Film in the National Competition of the festival went to "Toz Bezi" (Dust Cloth), directed by Ahu Öztürk, who received the award from the jury head, Müjde Ar.

The 34th Istanbul Film Festival's Honorary Award recipients have been announced. The awards are presented every year to those who make contributions to cinema by the organizer of the festival, the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV).
