Father of murdered woman claims police refused to meet him

The father of the woman who was stabbed to death by an ex-partner outside a police station in northern Athens earlier this week has said that when he went to the police station the following morning, he was not allowed to speak to the officer on duty.

Speaking to MEGA TV, the father added that he learned about his daughter's murder from a journalist.

Anti-state rebels in squabbles with motorcycle police at Patission Street

A policeman appears to have been injured from attacks by anti-state rebels at Patission street, near the Athens Center. The squabbles between the attackers and the DIAS motorcycle police took place near the Athens Polytechnic.

Private MEGA TV reported that following the attack, the rebels disappeared via Stournari Street.
