IPU gathered 2.000 participants from 150 countries
The opening ceremony of the 141st Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) began with the intonation of the Serbian anthem at the Belgrade Sava Center. The IPU will run until October 17, gathering 2,000 participants from around 150 countries.

Belgrade: Protest against "Vucic's autocratic regime"

A protest was held late on Wednesday by opposition parties and citizens, against "the autocratic regime of Aleksandar Vucic and introduction of dictatorship."
The protest was organized on the day Serbia's former prime minister assumed presidency.
Red Star take 2-0 lead in ABA league play-off final series
BELGRADE - Red Star Belgrade are a step away from defending their title in the regional basketball ABA league after beating Cedevita Zagreb 84-73 (29-18, 28-16, 15-16, 12-23) at home late Tuesday to take a 2-0 lead in the play-off final series.
The reigning champions had a 23-point lead at one point in the game.

Red Star again outplay Real Madrid in Belgrade

Djokovic gives Serbia 1-0 lead in tie with Croatia
KRALJEVO - Serbia took a 1-0 against lead in its 2015 Davis Cup World Group first round tie with Croatia, courtesy of world number one Novak Djokovic, who beat Mate Delic 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 in Kraljevo, central Serbia, on Friday.
Djokovic did not exert too much effort to defeat the world number 158 match in the match that lasted one hour and 30 minutes.
