USAF Developing Swarming Cruise Missile Prototype
The US Air Force Research Laboratory has awarded two defense contractors more than $100 million each to design a missile with "networked, collaborative behaviors (swarming) to address Integrated Air Defense (IAD) system threats around the world," Lockheed Martin announced December 27.

Lockheed, Pentagon 'still working toward F-35 fighter deal'
Lockheed Martin Corp and the Pentagon missed their end-of-March target for reaching agreement on $15 billion in new F-35 fighter jets, but should complete work on the contracts in April, according to sources familiar with the matter.
"We're closer now than we were at the beginning of the month," said one of the sources, who was not authorized to speak publicly.
Lockheed 'meets goal of delivering 45 F-35 jets in 2015'
Lockheed Martin Corp met its goal of delivering 45 F-35 fighter jets to the U.S. government and key allies in 2015, a 25 percent increase from 2014 that brought the number of jets delivered to 154, the Pentagon said on Dec. 21.
Bulgarian Military Arms with New Unmanned Planes
The Bulgarian military is preparing to arm itself with a new model of unmanned airplanes or so-called drones.
It is expected that Bulgaria's land forces are to receive tactical unmanned aerial system Scout in the beginning of April.
This emerged from the annual report on the state of Bulgaria's armed forces in 2014, daily Sega reports.
