Major oil and gas exhibition in late 2014

The London-based ITE Group announced on Thursday that it will stage the first international exhibition and conference on oil and natural gas in association with local exhibition firm ROTA SA in Athens on November 25-27 at the Metropolitan Expo venue next to the capital’s airport, with the aim of making it an annual event.

Greece’s potential in terms of hydrocarbons has caught the attention of one of the biggest international oil and gas exhibitors, which is now aspiring to make Athens the center for the promotion of the broader region in the industry.

ITE organizes a total of 22 such events every year in regions where there is a high interest in hydrocarbons discovery and utilization. The group opted to hold an exhibition and conference in Athens after scanning the market and detecting an interest for participation.

The organizers of the “South East Europe Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference” expect the participation of some 100 oil and gas companies that will be represented for the first time in Greece not only by their officials but also stands where their activities will be presented.
