Ivanovic breezes through to final

BIRMINGHAM - Serbia's Ana Ivanovic defeated China's Shuai Zhang 6-2 6-2 in Birmingham on Saturday to reach the final of that WTA tournament.

Ivanovic has so far kept her performance at a high level in Birmingham and is on course to her first title on grass.

Her opponent in the final will be the winner of the match between Casey Dellacqua of Australia and Czech Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.
