Henri Coanda International Airport of Bucharest certification renewed under ACI Europe Airport Carbon Accreditation

The National Airports Company of Bucharest (CNAB) has obtained the renewal of the certification of the Henri Coanda International Airport of Bucharest (AIHCB) under the ACI Europe Airport Carbon Accreditation programme, following a specialized audit carried out by international experts, CNAB informed in a release.

AIHCB is the first Romanian airport that obtained the first level of this certification (Mapping) in 2013, and one of the top 90 world airports to meet the international criteria for carbon emissions analysis and reduction.

Airport Carbon Accreditation is one of the most important programmes of ACI Europe, managed by an independent structure; its members represent the European Commission, the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), and the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol).AGERPRES
