15-year old brother of Paris attacks mastermind threatens to take revenge

European police have been placed on high alert, following reports that 15-year old Younes Abaaoud, brother of Paris mastermind terrorist Abdelhamid Abaaoud, has left Syria and is on his way to Belgium to avenge his older brother’s death. Younes has been described as the youngest jihadist fighter of ISIS in the media. According to French magazine ‘Paris Match’, Interpol intercepted a phone conversation in February between Younes and his sister Yasmina, who resides in Belgium, according to which he told her: ‘I come here at 10 o’clock’. ISIS has used the image of the young jihadist in its propaganda material showing him smiling while holding a Kalashnikov machine gun. Younes’s brother Abdelhamid is considered the mastermind behind the Paris attacks in November 2015 that claimed the lives of 130 people. He was killed during an anti-terrorist operation a week after the Paris terrorist massacre.
