Dark Tech at Drugstore

Known for its dark and unrelenting electronic music, Drugstore is undeniably the epicentre of underground clubbing in Serbia, perhaps even the region. This NYE, just like the last, they'll be putting on two different parties on different stages. Zadig, who has been a staple on the Parisian techno scene since the 90s, will be headlining in the main room, supported by Anastasia Kristensen from Copenhagen. Carlos Souffront, a don of the Detroit techno scene, will bring the deep and unexpected to the 'dark' room. Tickets are for the music, food and drink are extra.

Turkish Psychedelia at 20/44

20/44 has been one of the most eclectic clubs on the scene for some time now, and their New Year's parties don't disappoint. This year, they will have a visit from Baris K, a guru of Turkish psychedelic music and world-touring DJ. Eurasia, a compilation he co-authored, was pretty much directly responsible for the popularisation of Turkish funk, disco and psychedelic rock from the 70s. Drinks and food aren't covered by the ticket here either, the price is just for expanding your mind.

High Class at Hype

If you want to dance but you're looking for something a bit more high-end, you want to go to Hype, a club in the old Mikser House, in Savamala. DJs will be local and there'll be a nice mix of more commercial house, tech house and disco....
