With lasting warmth and high temperatures, the weather will roll through the week ofFebruary.

Today is forecast to be sunny and only in the afternoon in the mountains will it be cloudy locally and occasionally. Winds will blow in the west W-NW 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the east NE to NW 5 to 6 Beaufort. The temperature will rise by 1 to 2 degrees.

Sakis Arnaoutoglou warns that the average temperature in enclosed lowland areas away from the sea will be more than 1-2 degrees Celsius higher than the graph shows, with the temperature “touching” even 39 degrees Celsius in some areas, while the mercury in mountainous areas (500-1000 meters altitude) where the temperature will be 3-6 degrees lower.
