The vessel has a 25-member crew, all of whom are foreign nationals. Fortunately, there were no injuries from the attack.

Currently, the “Sounion” is anchored off the coast of Oman.

The tanker, owned by Delta Tankers, a company under the shipowner Diamantis Diamantidis, had loaded oil from the Persian Gulf and was en route to the refineries in Agioi Theodoroi, Greece.
