Red Sea: Houthi forces attack Greek-owned tanker “Sounion” off the coast of Yemen

The vessel has a 25-member crew, all of whom are foreign nationals. Fortunately, there were no injuries from the attack.

Currently, the “Sounion” is anchored off the coast of Oman.

The tanker, owned by Delta Tankers, a company under the shipowner Diamantis Diamantidis, had loaded oil from the Persian Gulf and was en route to the refineries in Agioi Theodoroi, Greece.

Salvage firm confirms sinking of Greek-owned Tutor struck by Houthis

The Greek-owned Tutor coal carrier attacked by Yemen's Houthi militants in the Red Sea last week has sunk, salvagers have confirmed.

The Tutor was struck with missiles and an explosive-laden remote-controlled boat on June 12 and had been taking on water, according to sources including maritime security companies and the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
