Three arrested for premeditated murder of 66-year-old in Evia village

Three individuals - a 22-year-old man, his sister, and her husband - have been arrested and charged with the premeditated murder of a 66-year-old man in the village of Andronianoi, in the Kymi-Aliveri municipality on Evia island, east of Athens.

The incident came to light on Tuesday morning when the 22-year-old called the emergency hotline (112), alleging that his father had assaulted him and attempted to sexually abuse him.

When police arrived at the scene, they found the young man waiting outside the house. He claimed to have no knowledge of his father's whereabouts. However, upon searching the property, officers discovered the 66-year-old's lifeless body at the base of an interior staircase leading from the ground floor to the basement.

The victim showed no visible injuries, though a knife was found nearby with no traces of blood.
