BELGRADE -- Air Serbia has introduced a new service between Belgrade and Tirana that will run three times a week from September 23.

The company said on Thursday that promotional airfares will be offered to passengers on these flights.

BELGRADE - Air Serbia has introduced a new service between Belgrade and Tirana that will run three times a week from September 23 and promotional airfares will be offered to passengers on these flights, the company said in a release on Thursday.

Planes will be departing from Belgrade at 1.20 p.m. and from Tirana at 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Bulgaria, Westinghouse Sign Shareholders' Agreement on Unit 7

Bulgaria's government announced Thursday a shareholders' agreement was signed with US-based company Westinghouse on the construction of Kozloduy NPP's Unit 7.

John Bass, who has been nominated by the Obama administration as new U.S. ambassador to Ankara, was approved by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The committee also discussed the approval of 10 other ambassadors, along with Bass, in the meeting. The General Assembly will discuss Bass’ nomination on an unspecified date.
