Daily: Russia cuts gas deliveries over unpaid debt

BELGRADE -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has decided to cut gas deliveries to Serbia by 28 percent, writes the Belgrade-based daily Danas.

Sofia Metro To Reach Airport In April

The extension of Sofia's red line will reach the airport in April 2015, said Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova who inspected the construction process.

The inspection established that the work was 72% complete and the metro station at the airport will be finished by end of November.

Traffic accidents rise 1.3 pct in August, year-on-year

The number of traffic accidents in Greece that caused death or injury rose by 1.3 percent in August this year compared to the same month in 2013, figures released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Friday have shown.

In numbers, 1,059 crashes were reported in the last month of the summer this year, up from 1,045 last year.
