Police evacuate squats in Athens
Police conducted an evacuation of a squatted public building in the neighborhood of Agios Panteleimonas during a raid on Wednesday morning. Fire breaks out in Oropos
A wildfire erupted on Wednesday in Oropos, north of Athens. At present, no residences seem to be in immediate danger.
A team of 34 firefighters, equipped with 11 vehicles, is currently on the scene, aided by two aircraft and two helicopters, endeavoring to contain the blaze.
