Belgrade on Water the greatest development opportunity
BELGRADE - The Belgrade on Water project is the city's greatest development opportunity and the most significant infrastructure project in the country, the head of the Belgrade Interim Authority Sinisa Mali has said.
"The presentation of the project at the real estate fair in Cannes was an outstanding opportunity for us," the Belgrade city administration quoted Mali as saying.
Renewables most attractive for investment
BELGRADE - Serbia created a good investment environment, and the field of renewable energy sources is the most attractive for investment, Assistant Energy Minister Dejan Trifunovic said on Wednesday.

22 hurt, three seriously injured in crash, driver detained
BELGRADE - A total of 22 people were hurt - including three with serious injuries - on Monday in Belgrade in a crash involving a lorry and two trams, with the lorry driver, who also sustained injuries, placed in 48-hour detention.
Two severely injured in Belgrade crash
BELGRADE - Sixteen people were injured in a traffic accident on Monday, including two severely injured who were admitted to the ER in a serious condition, said Dr Goran Petrovic of the Clinical Center of Serbia.
The accident occurred when a truck and two streetcars collided in New Belgrade on Monday afternoon, Tanjug learnt at the Ministry of the Interior.

Day of Serbian Satire on February 16
BELGRADE - The Days of Serbian Satire will be marked with several events organized by the Belgrade Aphoristic Circle (BAK), Association of Writers of Serbia (UKS) and Serbian Literary Society (SKD), and the central event will take place on February 16 on the date when great Serbian satirist Radoje Domanovic was born.
