Bulgarian president visiting Serbia

Radev will be welcomed in a ceremony in front of the Palace of Serbia in New Belgrade, and will later have a face-to-face meeting with Vucic.

This will be followed by a meeting of the delegations of the two countries, the Serbian Presidency announced.

A press release added that Radev and Vucic will today also attend the opening of an exhibition entitled "Applied Nostalgia."

Corbett and the three others (N.V, N.P. and N.A) have been charged with suspected illegal production, possession, carrying and distribution of weapons and explosives, spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office Tatjana Sekulic said in a statement to Tanjug.

Corbett was arrested on January 31 in an apartment in New Belgrade, in possession of a CZ-99 pistol with erased serial number.

Vesic also said that a new one will be put up instead, in the same New Belgrade street that is named after Gagarin.

In the meanwhile, the existing monument "lost its head" - i.e., the sculpture representing the head of the famous Russian cosmonaut, the first human to travel to space, was removed from the pedestal.

This has been announced with Education Minister Mladen Sarcevic, who explained that the original idea wass to establish the new faculty as a branch of the EFT.

But "the story with the EFT is not over yet," Sarcevic continued - however, if no agreement is reached, "other options are being considered, such as setting up a new faculty."

Vucic votes in New Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbian Progressive Party leader and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic cast his vote in the Belgrade local elections in the municipality of New Belgrade on Sunday morning.

Vucic appeared at polling station No. 27 in the Zepter International building shortly after 9.15 am.

Serbia's Ruling Party Wins Belgrade Elections

The ruling Serbian Progressive Party won most votes in Sunday's Belgrade City Assembly elections and will most likely continue to run the capital for the next four years, preliminary results show.

Party chief and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said the party's nominee for the post of mayor would be revealed within 15 days.
