China besieged Taiwan: Island blocked, 27 planes' raid; "This is an invasion"
As they state, Chinese forces are blocking the airspace and waters belonging to Taiwan.
As reported by the French news agency AFP, 27 planes entered Taiwan's airspace.

Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen thanked US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who is currently on a visit to the country, for her concrete actions in support of Taiwan at this critical time.
She stressed that the island will not back down in the face of increased military threats.

China labels Janša’s statements on Taiwan as dangerous
Beijing – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China labelled on Wednesday Prime Minister Janez Janša’s statements about Taiwan as “dangerous”, and expressed strong opposition. The reaction comes after Janša said in Monday’s interview with an Indian TV station that Slovenia and Taiwan were discussing setting up mutual representation offices.
European Parliament Delegation in Taipei: Europe is with Taiwan
Taiwan's democracy is a "treasure" that must be protected, French MEP Rafael Glucksmann was quoted as saying by AFP.
Glucksman, who heads a European Parliament delegation in Taipei, assured that support for the island will continue, amid growing tensions with China.

China says military drills near Taiwan a 'just' move
Chinese military exercises near Taiwan are targeted at forces promoting the island's formal independence and are a "just" move to protect peace and stability, China's Taiwan Affairs Office said on Oct. 13.
It also said the exercises are aimed at interference by external forces.
