EBRD supports growth of Turkish agribusiness firm through new loan

In a new boost to agribusiness in Turkey, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said it is providing a 20 million euro loan to Yayla Agro, a family-owned producer of pulses and rice in Turkey, in a statement on April 3.

Jankovic suffers early exit in Chinese Taipei

TAIPEI - Serbia's top-ranked female tennis player, Jelena Jankovic, has suffered an early exit from the WTA tournament in Chinese Taipei after losing 6-7 (4-7), 7-5, 6-4 to Kurumi Nara of Japan in the opening round on Tuesday.

Eight-seeded Jankovic lost to world number 87 Nara after two hours and 44 minutes of play.

Krunic out of Chinese Taipei tournament

TAIPEI - Serbia's Aleksandra Krunic has ended her campaign at the WTA tournament in Chinese Taipei after losing 6-3, 6-4 to Lucie Safarova of the Czech Republic in the opening round on Tuesday.

Wild card Safarova will next face Latvian Anastasia Sevastova.
