Russian Investment in Bulgaria Nearing USD 2 B in Decade - FM Lavrov
Corporate investment into the Bulgarian economy has been almost USD 2 B over the last 10 years, Russia's Foreign Minister has said hours ahead of a visit to Sofia.
Sergey Lavrov has told Focus News Agency that bilateral trade turnover was USD 2.9 B (BGN 4.17 B) last year, citing the numbers as an example for successful commercial and economic relations.

MOSCOW - The Gazprom Neft management, headed by CEO Alexander Dyukov, and Russia's Minister of Energy Alexander Novak have presented in Moscow to Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic development and investment plans for the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) aimed at making the company an energy leader in the Balkan region.

Croatia Seeks to Boost Oil and Gas Extraction
Vrdoljak told an energy conference in Zagreb on Tuesday that Croatia was preparing an international tender for onshore gas and oil exploration in addition to its current open tender for offshore exploration in the Adriatic Sea.
“There are 40 companies interested in the Adriatic seabed. By September, a lot of other prominent oil companies will come to Croatia,” he said.

Levski End Lukoil’s 11-Year Domination
Levski Sofia defeated reigning champions Lukoil Academic 81:69 in the deciding game of the National Basketball League to clinch their first title since 2001.
The two teams went into the 5th game of the final series with 2-2 wins, after several very tight games in their previous matches. However, this time in Samokov it was Levski who dominated throughout most of the game.
