The Do?an Holding vice president responsible for corporate communication, Ahter Kutadgu, made a statement March 22 on recent baseless claims about Petrol Ofisi, an oil retailer it formerly owned. 

The statement focusing on each claim, naming them "slander," is as follows: 

Turkey has developed into a headache for Austria?s OMV, which took a 205 million-euro hit on its Samsun power plant after several quarters of low profits, according to Reuters.

Do?an Enerji, a subsidiary of Turkish Do?an Holding, has announced it acquired an approximately 50 percent stake in Aytemiz fuel oil distribution for 152 million Turkish Liras (around $63 million) by a written statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on Jan. 30. 

Eczacıbaşı, one of Turkey’s largest companies, has announced it will apply to withdraw its construction materials subsidiary from the stock exchange amid an exodus stirred by a new regulation.
