Utilization of assets to fetch 4.2 bln by the end of 2018

The utilization of state properties is supposed to fetch revenues of 2.15 billion euros this year and 2.07 billion euros next year according to the midterm fiscal plan being debated in Parliament. After that, revenues are slashed drastically to about 100 million euros per annum.

The bill also provides for eight more state corporations to be handed over for utilization to the Public Participations Company (EDIS), along with the rights to 23 small regional airports that were left out of the process for the privatization of 14 airports.

Besides the 1.23 billion euros already cashed in from the regional airports Fraport Greece has undertaken, this year the plan provides for tenders already arranged for in previous years (OPAP, digital dividend, mobile network licenses) and tenders that expire this year (Trainose, Rosco, OTE etc)
