Two shooting incidents reported at the Iranian Parliament & Imam Khomeini’s Mausoleum (Upd.2)

According to initial reports, three assailants strormed the Iranian Parliament shooting at the guards.

One IRGC guard and two civilians have been injured.

The two civilians were citizens visiting their deputies.

According to some information it seems that the police guard has died of his injuries.

Senior member of the parliament’s Presiding Board Akbar Ranjbarzadeh said that one assailant was arrested at the Parliament’s hallway.

Meantime, Elyas Hazrati, a senior MP, said that three assailants attacked the parliament, carrying 2 Kalashnikov rifles and a handgun.

There are some information talking about hostages being held, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet.

The incident is not over, as the assailant seems that he was not alone. There are reports about shooting still taking place in the Parliament.

A second attack has been taking place in Imam Khomeini’s Mausoleum with one dead and five people injured.
