Ampelokipoi: 30-year-old woman remanded in custody for explosion

The 30-year-old woman arrested at the airport in connection with the explosion in an apartment in Ampelokipoi was remanded in custody after her 40-minute testimony before the investigating judge.

During her questioning, the woman denied involvement in the explosion case. She was apprehended at Athens’ Eleftherios Venizelos airport and was brought before the judge to offer her defense. Another suspect has already been sent to prison following his testimony, and tomorrow, the judge will visit the hospital “Evangelismos” to take a statement from the woman who was inside the apartment at the time of the explosion and was injured.

Meanwhile, a group of people gathered outside the courthouse to show their support for the accused, shouting slogans in her favor.
