Seven Bulgarians Arrested in Belgrade for Intending to Stage Protest

Seven Bulgarian citizens were arrested on Monday evening in Belgrade, said Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry, quoted by the BNT public broadcaster.

They are followers of the Chinese Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) spiritual movement and were intending to protest against the violations of human rights in China.

Interior minister condemns attack on foreign citizen

BELGRADE - Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic condemned in the strongest terms an attack on the German citizen D.H. (27) that occurred in downtown Belgrade in the night between Friday and Saturday and left the man with serious injuries, and ordered an intensive investigation, the Interior Ministry said in a release on Saturday.

Foreign citizen attacked in Belgrade

BELGRADE - A foreign citizens suffered serious bodily injuries after being attacked by an unknown person in downtown Belgrade at around 3 a.m. Saturday, the Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) said in a release.

The Belgrade police is on the ground, working hard to determine the facts about the attack to find those responsible as soon as possible, the release said.
