Italy donates books to Belgrade University
BELGRADE - Acting on behalf of the Italian government, Italian Ambassador to Serbia Giuseppe Manzo Monday presented Belgrade University with Italian grammar and literature books for use by the lecturers and students of its Faculty of Philology Italian Studies Department, a symbolic act to mark the beginning of the 14th Annual Italian Language Week in the World.

BELGRADE - Belgrade University awarded the honorary title of doctor of science to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, the Belgrade University Senate released at its session on Wednesday.
Serbian Mayor Accused of Copying Thesis
The Serbian website Pescanik on Wednesday published a study alleging that over 30 per cent of the thesis of the Mayor of Belgrade was lifted from other people's work.
Some 33 per cent of Sinisa Mali's university thesis was copied from other people’s work, it said, and the content of numerous pages was copied almost completely, it added.

Serbian PM's Berlin Visit Will Focus on EU
Ivo Viskovic, a former Serbian ambassador to Germany, says Vucic's meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday will focus on Serbia's EU integration process.
According to him, Serbia can expect German help on its path to EU membership. "This help would be mainly of an advisory and economic character through stimulating German investment in Serbia," Viskovic told BIRN.

BELGRADE -- Slovenian President Borut Pahor stated on Friday that the results of elections for the European Parliament might slow down the EU enlargement process.
Serbia, he added, will have Slovenia's full support in the accession talks with Brussels.
