Turkey’s top diplomat to visit Brussels for key talks with EU, NATO
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will pay a two-day visit to Brussels to discuss the future of Turkey-EU relations with senior EU officials, including matters concerning visa waiver to Turkish nationals, updating customs union and renewing of migrant deal.
EU rapporteur urges restoration of trust with Turkey
Turkey is "very important" to the European Union and trust must be rebuilt between the two sides, said the EU Parliament's new Turkey rapporteur.

"Where there is a will, there is a #deal - we have one! It's a fair and balanced agreement for the EU and the UK and it is testament to our commitment to find solutions", Juncker said.
"I recommend that #EUCO endorses this deal", he said, as Reuters reports.

MEPs "Not Impressed" with the New Brexit Plan
MEPs "are not impressed" by the proposed new withdrawal agreement by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Guy Verhofstadt, the EU Parliament's Brexit co-ordinator, said he was "absolutely not positive about Johnson's proposals".

Conservatives lead 9.5 pct in poll on EU elections
A poll by news website Politico gives main opposition New Democracy a 9.5 percent lead over ruling SYRIZA in the European elections this month, according to a poll published Tuesday.
Conservatives are projected to garner 35.22 percent of the vote and nine seats in the EU Parliament, versus 25.74 percent for SYRIZA and seven seats.

Forty Greek parties to participate in EU elections
A section of Greece's Supreme Court ruled on Friday that 40 parties and coalitions will participate in the upcoming European elections on May 26.
A total of 49 parties had registered to run at the top court's prosecutor's office but nine failed to pay the required 3,000 euros fee or to present a full list of candidates.

Total of 49 parties register for EU elections
A total of 49 Greek parties are registered to run in the European Parliament elections on May 26, up from 43 in 2014. The final number may be lower, however, as parties have to pay a 5,000-euro fee to participate. MEP candidates pay 500 euros.
