There were no Cyber Attacks during Bulgaria’s European Parliament Elections

There have been no cyber attacks during the Bulgarian elections for EU Parliament and the election security was well organized, Bulgaria's Interior Minister, Mladen Marionv, said on May 28. He participated in the opening of a roundtable on "Cyber Security Challenges to the Institutions and Business in Bulgaria" at Inter Expo Center in Sofia, reports BNT. 

Conservatives lead 9.5 pct in poll on EU elections

A poll by news website Politico gives main opposition New Democracy a 9.5 percent lead over ruling SYRIZA in the European elections this month, according to a poll published Tuesday.
Conservatives are projected to garner 35.22 percent of the vote and nine seats in the EU Parliament, versus 25.74 percent for SYRIZA and seven seats.

Forty Greek parties to participate in EU elections

A section of Greece's Supreme Court ruled on Friday that 40 parties and coalitions will participate in the upcoming European elections on May 26.
A total of 49 parties had registered to run at the top court's prosecutor's office but nine failed to pay the required 3,000 euros fee or to present a full list of candidates.
