Turkish NGOs to deliver over 1,300 tons of humanitarian aid to Lebanon

Nine Turkish non-governmental organizations (NGOs) announced Wednesday their plan to dispatch a humanitarian aid ship to Lebanon, aiming to support the Lebanese amid ongoing devastating attacks by Israel.

During a press conference in Istanbul, representatives from the NGOs detailed their humanitarian efforts for Lebanon.

Hamas claims responsibility for Jaffa killings

Hamas' military wing has claimed responsibility for a mass shooting in Tel Aviv that left seven people dead, including a Greek national, and many others wounded.

It said the two attackers, who opened fire on a boulevard and train station in Jaffa Tuesday evening, were its militants and hailed from the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

Hamas has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack on Tel Aviv’s Jaffa in which seven people were killed and 16 others injured. Among the victims was a Greek man, Ionas Karousis.

The Palestinian group said the attack was launched by two of its members from Hebron, Mohammed Mesek and Ahmed Himmouni.

Israel vows to make Iran pay for missile attack as regionwide conflict grows

Israel vowed to make Iran "pay" for firing a barrage of missiles at its territory, with Tehran warning on Wednesday it would launch an even bigger attack if it is targeted.

Iran launched its second direct attack on Israel in history on Tuesday, firing what it said were 200 missiles including hypersonic weapons, and sending frightened Israeli civilians into shelters.

Israel declares UN chief 'persona non grata'

Israel declared U.N. chief Antonio Guterres "persona non grata" on Wednesday, accusing him of failing to specifically condemn Iran's missile attack on Israel.

"Anyone who cannot unequivocally condemn Iran's heinous attack on Israel does not deserve to step foot on Israeli soil," said Foreign Minister Israel Katz in a statement.
