Srbijagas puts South Stream construction behind schedule
BELGRADE - The problem with issuing government guarantees needed for the construction of the South Stream pipeline leg through Serbia has emerged because the reforms in Srbijagas, a government owned company, are behind schedule, the Ministry of Energy has said.
Customs revenues increase by 3.3 percent
BELGRADE - The Customs Administration collected a total of RSD 356 billion or EUR 3 billion in revenues in 2013, which reflects a year-on-year rise of 3.33 percent, Customs Administration Director Milos Tomic said on Thursday.

IMF, Serbia talks start
BELGRADE - A mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has started the talks with Serbian officials in Belgrade on Wednesday on the state of public finances in the country, the IMF Resident Representative Office in Belgrade confirmed for Tanjug.

Budget deficit at RSD 7 billion in January
BELGRADE - The deficit in the Serbian budget in January this year was RSD 7 billion, the Ministry of Finance has stated.
Budget revenue was RSD 72.2 billion and expenditure RSD 79.2 billion.
This information does not include the revenue and expenditure of indirect budget users, the ministry said.
Tax revenue was RSD 65.3 billion and non-tax revenue was RSD 6.3 billion.

Serbia's public debt at EUR 20.22 billion
BELGRADE - The total public debt of Serbia reached EUR 20.22 billion at the end of January, accounting for 62.3 percent of the gross domestic product, the Ministry of Finance released on its website.

RSD 8.63 billion allocated to civil society projects
BELGRADE - A total of RSD 9.23 billion (EUR 1 = RSD 116) have been allocated from the Serbian budget and RSD 8.63 billion paid for projects and programs of civil society organizations in 2012, it was stated today at the presentation of the annual report of the Serbian government Office for Cooperation with Civil Society.
