Influx of Immigrants to Bulgaria via Greece Increases 10 Times
The current migration pressure is comparable to the highest levels in October last year, Bulgaria's Deputy Interior Minister Filip Gunev told Capital Daily.
Traffic has been partly diverted to Greece, and the number of people who entered Bulgaria from Greece increased ten times, Gunev noted.

Stolen Luxury Cars Worth EUR 1M Seized at Bulgarian Border
Bulgaria's Customs officers have detained a total of 8 stolen luxury cars worth about EUR 1M in one month only, the Ministry of Interior reported.
The expensive vehicles were seized during auto theft inspections in Western Europe in the period July – August 2014.
Half Million Bulgarians Drive Volkswagen Cars
Volkswagen is the most common car brand in Bulgaria, according to the Ministry of Interior data regarding the registration of motor vehicles.
A total of 476,327 Volkswagen automobiles have been registered in Bulgaria, however 238,940 of them are over 20 years old, which makes the brand the leader in the ranking of old cars in the country, as well, Speed-Press reports.

Italian Citizen Abducted in Bulgaria's Sofia, Five Detained
Five people, who have abducted an Italian citizen in Bulgaria's Sofia have been arrested on July 10, the press center of the Ministry of Interior said.
The night before, the taxi that the Italian was in was stopped by an Opel in Studentski Grad district. 2 men forced him to enter the car and abducted him.
