Low Turnout in Bulgaria’s EU Elections, Vote-Buying Schemes Revealed
Approximately 2 hours before the closure of the polling stations in Bulgaria’s European elections, the voter turnout was 27.42%.
At the same time during the 2009 EU elections, the turnout was 28.10%, the Bulgarian National Television reported.
Around 25,070 evacuated from areas threatened by floods
BELGRADE - So far 25,070 people have been evacuated from areas threatened by floods in Serbia, including 7,800 people from Obrenovac, a town near Belgrade that was completely flooded and where the situation is the worst, the Ministry of Interior stated on Monday.
Macedonia sends special units and drainage pumps as aid

The data, obtained through a freedom of information request, FOI, show that the Ministry of Interior held six major TV ad campaigns and produced one spot in four years for a total 85,389,780 lek (€610,000).
The seven contracts awarded for the production and transmission of the adverts all went to one advertising agency, Promo Sh.p.k.

MPs passes Law on Ministries, amendments to Law on Governmen
BELGRADE – The Serbian parliament adopted the bill on Ministries and amendments to the Law on Government on Saturday.
These two pieces of legislation the election of the new Serbian government is conditional on received 185 votes in favor and 18 against.
Parliamentary committees approve bills on gov't, ministries
BELGRADE - The Serbian parliamentary committee on the judiciary and the committee on constitutional affairs and legislation approved on Thursday in principle amendments to the laws on government and ministries following a plenary debate that started in the afternoon.
The amendments are a prerequisite for electing the new government.
Ministers Agree to Boost Bulgaria-Israel Security Cooperation
Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetlin Yovchev and Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman have highlighted security as an essential aspect of bilateral cooperation.
Liberman is on a visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of Yovchev from November 2013, according to the press office of Bulgaria's Interior Ministry.
