Istanbul Chief Prosecutor's Office has prepared an indictment against 18 journalists who are accused of "making propaganda for a terrorist organization," asking the court to jail them for up to 7.5 years. 

Three suspects have been detained in an operation against a terror organization launched at dawn on Aug. 4 in multiple Istanbul districts. 

Police launched an operation against the outlawed Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C) early Aug. 4, during which they raided 13 addresses in Istanbul's Sultangazi, Ba?c?lar and Gaziosmanpa?a districts. 

Turkey's prime minister vowed his government will continue to preserve the balance of security and freedom in the ongoing fight against separatist terrorism amid concerns that the anti-terror struggle also targets the democratically elected Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and its leaders.
