Athens not concerned by Turkish drillship mission
Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar has announced a new mission in the Mediterranean of the Abdulhamid Han drillship, which is the latest addition to the Turkish Petroleum Company's (TPAO) exploration fleet.
Given that it will operate within an area of Turkish jurisdiction, Athens is not concerned, and it will not affect the Greek-Turkish rapprochement.

Türkiye, Saudi sign series of deals as part of Erdoğan’s visit
Türkiye and Saudi Arabia have signed a series of agreements on boosting investment, defense industry cooperation, energy collaboration and communications during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Persian Gulf states.
The deals were finalized after delegation meetings led by Erdoğan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the city of Jeddah on July 17.

American companies view Turkey as regional hub, US official says
U.S. Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Marisa Lago met with Turkish officials in Ankara on April 5-6.
She held separate meetings with Turkish Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar and Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu to advance commercial ties and promote clean technologies.
SOCAR AQS opens 40 wells in Turkey’s gas storage project
Azerbaijan's integrated drilling and oil services management company, SOCAR AQS, opened 40 wells to expand the storage capacity of the Salt Lake (Tuz Gölü) Natural Gas Storage Facility in central Anatolia, head of SOCAR AQS said on May 27.
Around $103 million will be invested for storage expansion at the Salt Lake facility, SOCAR AQS Director General Ramin Isayev told Anadolu Agency.
Turkey procures its third drilling vessel from UK
Turkey has procured its third drilling vessel form the U.K. which is set to arrive in Turkey in a few weeks, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez has said.
Turkey will continue to work unabated in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, he said on Feb. 24 at an energy and natural resources summit.
