The meeting was scheduled after the Kosovo police shot a Serb, Milan Jovanovi, and a protest was held regarding that attack.
The representative of the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, Dalibor Jevti, stated that today's position of Serbia is much stronger and stated that the new measures would not be possible if it were not so.

It should be reiterated that Jovanovi confirmed that he canceled the security that was assigned to him by the police 20 years ago, out of revolt, because the police had previously informed him that they will cancel the security for his children.
Jovanovic also said that he was shocked by such a decision.
