Sleeping Beauty | Thessaloniki | April 7

The Polish National Ballet is bringing its production of "Sleeping Beauty," with music by by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Marius Petipa's mesmerizing choreography, to the Thessaloniki Concert Hall (tch.gr) on April 7. This timeless masterpiece is directed by Nina Abramanko, a former Bolshoi dancer, and features the company's principal dancer Chinara Alizade, among others.

The St Petersburg Festival Ballet will be on stage at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall with Tchaikovsky's all-time classic "Sleeping Beauty," in a production inspired by the company's founder, Marius Petipa, and adapted to the 21st century. Elena Kotsyubira performs the role of Aurora. Shows take place at 8.30 p.m., with extra 4.30 p.m. performances on December 21 and 22.

Bolshoi’s ‘Raymonda’ | Athens | October 27

Tuning in live from Moscow, the Athens Concert Hall will be screening the Bolshoi Ballet's celebrated production of "Raymonda," choreographed by Yuri Grigorovich after Marius Petipa, on Sunday, October 27. In Alexander Glasunov's romance Raymonda is betrothed to Jean de Brienne, a gallant knight in the service of the King of Hungary.

Swan Lake | Athens | May 3-5

The famed Odessa National Academic Opera Ballet returns to Athens with the crowd-pleasing favorite "Swan Lake" from May 3 to 5, with performances at 8 p.m. on all days and additional shows at 4 p.m. on May 4 and 5, aimed mostly at children.

Giselle | Athens | December 16-31

The Greek National Opera presents popular ballet "Giselle," with music by Adolphe Adam and choreography by Irek Mukhamedov and Marius Petipa. Performances take place at the Olympia Theater on December 16, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30 and 31. Shows start at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. on December 31).

'Swan Lake' comes to Istanbul with Kremlin Ballet
