Ukrainian ballet dancers to perform in Belgrade

BELGRADE - At the very start of the new year in the spirit of the New Year and Christmas holidays, Sava Center and the Serbian National Theatre will organize a magnificent cultural event on January 16 - the ballet Nutcracker with guest stars of the Ukrainian ballet.

The two-act ballet with a score by Pyotr Ilich Tchaikovsky, choreographed by Marius Petipa and adapted by Konstantin Kostyukov will be performed by guests from Ukraine, soloists and the National Theatre ballet and orchestra under the baton of Djordje Pavlovic. The decoration and costumes is done by Angelina Atlagic.

The Sava Center will host the champions of the Taras Shevchenko National Ballet of Ukraine, Natalia Matsak as Masha and Denys Wedak as the Nutcracker.

Aside from the guest, the ballet dancers and the ensemble of the National Theatre will also take part in the show.

The ticket price ranges RSD 800, RSD 1000 and RSD 1200, and they can be bought at the box offices of Sava Center and the National Theatre.
