Pre-fab house maker Lumar increases revenues, expects growth
Maribor – Lumar IG, a Maribor-based maker of prefabricated energy-efficient homes, increased its revenues by more than 6% to over EUR 19 million last year despite the epidemic and challenging conditions. The company ended the year with a net profit of EUR 1.4 million, almost double the figure of 2019.

In the past decade, German investments were 1.88 billion euros, and the trade exchange between the two countries reached 5.3 billion euros last year. German investments in Serbia are growing - in the first quarter of this year alone, they exceeded 46 million euros, RTS reports.

Automotive giant Magna’s Slovenian plant to be relaunched in early 2022
Hoče – Magna Steyr vice president Erwin Fandl and David Adam, director of the Slovenian Magna plant in Hoče, have informed representatives of the Slovenian government and local authorities that production in Hoče would be relaunched at the start of next year.

No parliament debate on opposition Left’s political programme

Shuttle operator GoOpti acquired by investment fund from Oman
Ljubljana – GoOpti, a provider of shared and private shuttle transfers to airports and between towns, is being taken over by the International Strategic Ventures investment fund from Oman, Delo reported on Friday. The value of the deal is not known, while founders Marko Guček and Tomaž Lorenzetti will stay in the company for now.

Janša impeachment motion in parliament on Wednesday
Ljubljana – After last week’s blockade of a plenary session, parliament was back to business on Monday as the college of deputy group leaders set this week’s agenda. MPs will set a referendum date on Tuesday, the impeachment motion against PM Janez Janša is scheduled for Wednesday and a motion to dismiss Speaker Igor Zorčič might be debated on Friday.
