Nikolic invites Putin to Belgrade liberation anniversary

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will send an official invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin to a ceremony scheduled for October 20 marking the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade in World War II, Tanjug learned at the president's office.

The invitation will be handed to Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday.
