UDMR's Kelemen: UDMR will recommend ethnic Hungarians to vote in presidential runoff according to their beliefs

National leader of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) Kelemen Hunor, on Thursday said UDMR will recommend the ethnic Hungarian voters to vote according to their own beliefs in the November 16 presidential runoff election.

Electoral Bureau: final results of vote abroad 46.17 pct Iohannis, 15.9 pct Ponta

Statistics published on Thursday on the website of the Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) show Christian Liberal Alliance candidate Klaus Iohannis got 46.17 percent (73,912 votes) and incumbent Social Democrat Prime Minister Victor Ponta 15.90 percent (25,466 votes) of votes cast abroad in the first round of the presidential ballot.
