BELGRADE -- Aleksandar Vučić has said that when it comes to South Stream "for Serbia, everything is proceeding as planned."
"Any possible decision to the contrary will be made only by the government," the prime minister told a news conference on Monday, held ahead of his trip to Germany later this week.

BELGRADE -- Bulgaria's decision to suspend work to build South Stream at the request of the European Commission means that Serbia will have "postpone the start of works."
This is according to Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlović.

BELGRADE - Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic has commented on Bulgaria's decision to suspend work on the construction of the South Stream gas pipeline at the request of the European Commission by saying that Serbia will have to postpone the start of the pipeline's construction.
Final damage assessment due at end of June
BELGRADE - The damage caused by recent floods in Serbia is currently estimated at around EUR 500 million, which is still far from the final amount - to be determined at the end of the month - or the total economic damage to the country, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic has said.

Office to take over reconstruction work in flood-hit areas
MALI ZVORNIK - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic stated on Wednesday that the reconstruction work in the flood-affected areas will be in the competence of the newly-formed office for recovery and aid for the flooded areas, which has received all damage assessment documentation collected to date.

Damage to infrastructure at around EUR 260 mln
OBRENOVAC - The flood-caused damage to the energy, telecommunications, railway and road infrastructures amounts to around EUR 260 million, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic said on Sunday, adding that all state roads will be rebuilt by October.
