Bosnia: Teacher injures 6 students in classroom
Six eighth-grade students in an elementary school in Gromiljak, near Kiseljak, Bosnia-Herzegovina, have been lightly injured by their teacher.
This happened when the man, a Sarajevo resident whose initials are M.B., started "throwing desks around the classroom," the daily Nezavisne Novine is reporting on Friday.

Some 24 Syrian migrants including children and women have been found by police in a two-room slum in Turkey's northwestern province of Edirne bordering Bulgaria and Greece, living in harsh conditions in a basement flat.
Syrian migrants bidding to cross to Europe have been camping and waiting for 10 days in Edirne, but have been told by the authorities to leave the city.

Two Syrians detained for smuggling Ottoman era coins
Police have detained two Syrians for selling historic coins called "sikke" from the Ottoman era in Istanbul, while 500 historic coins as well as modern currency were also confiscated in the raid.
The two Syrians, identified as M.B. and K.B., were detained after police raided a house in Istanbul's Esenyurt district after a tip was shared that historic coins were being smuggled.
