Korivos loses to relegated Trikala and goes down
Panionios needed a miracle to remain in the Basket League, and that is exactly what happened in the last round of the regular season on Sunday: Korivos Amaliadas lost at home to already relegated Trikala and followed it on the way down to the A2 division. Also on Sunday Kolossos earned the last ticket to the play-offs and Panathinaikos finished the entire regular season unbeaten.

Panionios is on the verge of going down to the A2 division after losing at home to PAOK in the penultimate round of the Basket League regular season on Wednesday.
PAOK wins at AEK as Aris nears relegation
Thessaloniki rivals PAOK and Aris had opposite fortunes on Wednesday in the Basket League, as PAOK triumphed at AEK to become the favorite for the third spot while Aris edged closer to the drop going down at home to Kymi. Trikala is definitively relegated.

Marcus Denmon made seven out of eight triples for a total of 25 points, as Panathinaikos scored its 17th win in as many games in the Basket League downing Promitheas at Patra on Sunday.

Kymi beat PAOK in a memorable encounter on Thursday to stake a claim for a top-eight finish and a play-off spot in the Basket League, while Aris took a leap to safety beating Lavrio at home on Wednesday.

Perfect Greens eclipse host PAOK
Panathinaikos is looking good for going the entire regular season of the Basket League undefeated, as it emerged unscathed from the PAOK challenge on Sunday.
Led by Kenny Gabriel (14 points), the Greens bounced back from their Euroleague loss at Bamberg less than 48 hours earlier to beat PAOK 91-74 in Thessaloniki and make it 15 out of 15 in the league.
