Ryanair to table bid for Cyprus Airways
Ryanair will probably submit an expression of interest in troubled Cyprus Airways, which is up for sale, Chief Executive Michael OLeary said on Tuesday.
The Cypriot government in mid-July invited non-binding expressions of interest in its shares or assets in Cyprus Airways, a state-controlled airline which has posted heavy losses for years.

Bulgaria Could See Air Traffic Boosted over Ukraine's MH17 Crash
Flights over Bulgaria could increase by 10-15% after the closure of Eastern Ukrainian airspace, Europe's organization for safety of air traffic estimates.
However, Bulgarian private national channel bTV argues the figure could rise, as many airlines have decided to avoid passing via Ukraine in the near future.

Malaysia is to send two C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft to Ukraine in an operation to establish causes of flight MH17 crash, a military official said on Saturday.

Malaysia Airlines Reveals Nationalities of All MH17 Passengers
Malaysia airlines has announced the final list of the nationalities of all 298 passengers on board of flight MH17 which crashed in Eastern Ukraine, Thursday.
A total of 192 of all victims were from the Netherlands, 44 people, of whom 15 crew members, were Malaysian nationals, 27 Australians, 12 Indonesians, 10 nationals of the United Kingdom have been on board.

MH17 Passenger Took Photo Of Doomed Jet, Posts It On Facebook
One of the 298 people who were killed in the Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 crash in eastern Ukraine took a photo of the plane at the Schiphol airport and posted it on Facebook.
Ironically, his comment was “Should it vanish, this is what it looks like”, referring to the recent accident with another Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777, which disappeared mysteriously over the Indian Ocean.

The Malaysian airliner apparently shot down over rebel-held eastern Ukraine was flying over airspace that a number of other Asian carriers had already abandoned months ago because of security concerns.
